Vinod Patel studied civil draughtsmanship at Iindustrial Training Institute, Saraspur and worked at Sangath, Ahmedabad before joining HCP in Januaary 1995. Significant projects that he has worked on include the Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad (IIM-A), Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA) and Gujarat High Court
