This study analyzes the real estate market dynamics over the last decade (2002-20112) in the city of Ahmedabad, India with a view improving the living conditions of the large population living in slums. It is a product of the Finance Economics and Urban Department, Sustainable Development Network. It is part of a larger effort by the World Bank to provide open access to its research and make a contribution to development policy discussions around the world.
