The Urban Design Research Institute invited Dr. Bimal Patel to present HCP’s proposal for the Redevelopment of the Eastern Waterfront, Mumbai to a gathering of professionals and students. The presentation was followed by Q&A session moderated by Mr. Cyrus Guzder.
As part of a wider, guided and experience-based architectural learning initiative titled ‘Ahmedabad Commons’, HCP organised an open house for two projects: Bhaktiben-Hasmukhbhai Residence and Newman Hall.

A talk about sustainability was organized by Alliance Francaise (Ahmedabad) as part of a series called ‘Decoding Cities’. Dr Bimal Patel and Bobby Desai, both directors at HCP were speakers at this event.
Hosted by Samsung, the Ahmedabad leg of Green Turf saw participation of many renowned architects. including HCP’s Director of Design Bobby Desai.
Nerolac ‘EarthMatters’ in association with Indian Architect & Builder (IA&B) saw an evening with over 90 architects in Ahmedabad. The attempt was to speak about sustainability not as a speciality but as a prerequisite of all actions, with a special address to design, innovation & sustenance. Bobby Desai was a panelist at this event.
